Video Message; Turning A Page to 2010 Season

by on April 2, 2010

A message for you  as we transition from the first Collection, The 2009 Playoff Collection and prepare for Opening Day 2010.

We would love to hear from you. Send a Tweet to @baseballisms with a quick message, send us an email or visit our Upload page with a video message.  We look forward to growing a community of fans interested in the poetry of the game of baseball!

Joe, you and Cameron do great work, visual, educational, and spiritual, on baseballisms.com. Thanks to both of you for providing us with a welcoming place where we, your fans and readers, can feel the sweet rush of remembering a specific moment or player and offer our own thoughts on all the different aspects of baseball that make it the great game it is, has been, and always will be – no matter how many Bud Seligs or Donald Fehrs try to mess it up for the rest of us.

Here's to a happy and healthy 2010 season for all, and may baseballisms continue to present its unique look at the characters and events that make baseball so special. In umpiring, we have a saying that expresses the highest accolade one ump can bestow on another: “Good job.”

To you, Cameron, and baseballisms, Great Job!

@PerryBarber Thank you so much! .. I have heard of that simple, yet elegant, compliment among the umpires. I know that it is not used without merit, so I am grateful for your kind words, encouragement and support for what we are trying to achieve here. Always the best.
