    I thought one of the greatest improvements in the card industry was when they started using action shots.

    Ron .. I've notice the Yankees during this time period had many more action shots than other teams. I suspect it was a cost factor … the team wasn't so great then, but Steve Kline, Fritz Peterson and Horace Clarke et al sure had good looking cards!
