		<description>I was 8 years old and that&#039;s the first World Series I remember watching. Even as a Jr. Braves fan wearing my Ocean Pacific T shirt, I was blown away by the magic of that homer and see Tommy sprint from the dugout with his arms open to hug Gibson. And of course, the fist pump was the oft imitated.</description>

We started posting the scoreboards back on Opening Day and batter by batter we went through all the way up to today&#039;s final post at the All-Star break.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The game is one of the all time favorites if only for the great calls by the announcers .. Both Vin Scully and Jack Buck gave us call that last forever.  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Gibson&#039;s home run off of Dennis Eckersley changed the course of that series as the A&#039;s were considered dominant favorites over the ragtag Dodgers.  The beleagured A&#039;s never recovered!</description>
